Fly Solo!

Cattle Egret – taking off -By Atanu Chakraborty

When a bird let’s go off the perch …
Does the bird look around for relatives?
Comrades of same feathers to accompany
Does it seek, during flight, some life perspectives?
From a higher vantage point, some harmony

When a bird let’s go off the perch …
Does the bird itself taking flight
Become a perspective?
For those looking up to it

When a bird let’s go off the perch …
It finds the ability to fly above it all
Any kind of wrongness or rightness
Leaving all hesitation behind
Its flight is all lightness
The joy and strength in its wings
A sense of freedom it rings

The ability to fly off the perch in itself
Is a maturity in perspectives
It is the ability to simply Be
Your potential and your joy and your ease

What helps you fly in the first place
Is your letting go in space
Of all that you hold on to
Sometimes it is the need for control
Sometimes the lack of trust
To let go and follow your soul

Guilty of Solitude?

My Solitude

…And this came up, as I looked at yet another photo from my personal retreat.

And how long did it take me
To be here and be this
Just be with such joy of being
With myself and that too with no guilt?

And how long did it take me
To realize that being here and being this
Being with myself with such joy
Does not hurt any other role of mine
That it makes me only better in all the roles
That I have been blessed with on earth?

And how long until I was willing to be
In such places and times
That bring up pure gratitude and bliss
These places and these times living in me
In ways that I don’t really anything miss?

And how long until I realized
That I had felt ever so lonely
While in the midst of all crowd
That in solitude I was never really alone?

I have all of so many souls and their journeys living in me
I have become this person made of all of you
That I keep drifting off in this space
Of thoughts & impressions of you all
And then just nothing but this pure space
Of being in this pure space on earth …

A Wall to Knock on

The wall that keeps them out
Also keeps you in

The rift in the Self is always about
Building one or tearing one down

A wall to keep knocking on
Becomes our frantic escape

From the often tumultuous journey
Through the inner landscape

As if a game of breaking it off in freedom
From the often perceived boredom

The game becomes wonted & imperative
To keep finding a wall to crash into

As if there is no end to the fight in you
So seek it out in everything you walk into

What if we each keep our place
While we intersect in this delicious space

Where we share our appreciation and apprehension
Not needing a wall for separation

The wall that keeps them out
Also keeps you in

Flight of Success

Pelican - in flight - Ranganathittu - 1F8A5632

When a bird soars high in the sky

What is it’s connection to the earth?
Is it aware of the height it is at?

Does it perceive the expanse around?
Does it perceive all the freedom surround?

Does it simply take flight in the light
All unaware of the ground below in sight?

Humans that dream of taking flight
Of what is called as success in their intention

When they do take flight in their realm

How aware and connected do they stay
To the ones they left behind in the day?

Do they become one with the height?
Not knowing any difference slight

It is the ones watching them who measure
The distance and the scale of the flight

Is this how detachment sets in
For the ones taking flight?

Do you know Person 1 & Person 2?

To Person 1
Yes.
Be Yourself.
Though this nastiness
That you are giving others
Is Not You.
Find yourSelf
That You are happy with
Then
Be Yourself.
Take your time.
You will be thrilled
At the wondrous change in you.
You will enjoy Being You.

To Person 2
Yes.
I am Being Me.
Though this attitude of mine
Is not agreeable to you.
I am finding myself incapable
Of dumbing down
To make you feel good.
Take your time.
And reach out to me.
Then
You will find
My Love and Regard for you
Can stay the same always.
I am thrilled
At this wondrous change in me.
I am enjoying Being Me.

To the Perfect Spouse

You OWN me in this lifetime

Because of how infinitely UNOWNED

I feel and live

While in relationship with you

P.S. Dear WP friends, thank you for the thoughtful and warm messages waiting for me, as I return from my break 🙂 I took a break to attend to some things that were gaining momentum in my other worlds. The break although served another purpose. I became unwell, affording me rich times of grounding, growing and nourishing my Being, with everything that my Being craved for. As I recover and get back, I feel a clarity of my intentions. I am very eager to explore all the work I missed from all of you 🙂

P.S. 2 – Kindly do share with me what thoughts came up for you, about my sentiment to the Perfect Spouse, in agreement or otherwise 🙂

Bound Being, Free Being …with more clarity

You are not bound
You are not free
You are the lock
You are the key

You are the thought
You see but you are not
You are the one
That can see that thought

You are the Being
You think you are the Doing
Doing from the feeling
Feeling from the meaning

Do the doing that sets you free
Do take a step back and see
If the doing you can’t help doing
Is actually not You fleeing

Be the Being
Bound and Free
You are the lock
You are the key

Dear amazing readers,
This poem came to me, what feels like, a lifetime ago. From a very deep place of digesting and meaning and feeling. I wish to share it again as it comes as a fresh experience to me today. There is a qualitative difference in the way we feel in life when you are ‘doing’ something to get something vs. ‘being’ something to find something. My mind went back to this poem as I listened to a podcast from Skylarity.

Please share your thoughts on my poem and then go the following link to listen to an elaborate description of what the difference in ‘doing’ vs ‘being’ looks like, in every aspect of life.

Infinite Living is about linking to those infinite energies at work that propel us to the infinite goodness of all of humanity.

Precious…Is all there Is

Precious
Is this moment
Is this day
Is this life
All as you know it will pass

Precious
Is the relation
With yourself
With all around you
All as you know can change

Precious
Is your pursuits
Is your accomplishments
Is your contentment
All as you know will change

Precious
Is your humanness
In all imperfection
Is no need for perfectness
All that you strive for will come

Precious
Is the lesson
Is the opportunity
Is the message
All the experiences that they bring

Precious
Is the choice of joy
Is the choice of love
Is the choice of conscience
All that you do become blessings

Precious
Is all compassion
Is all gratitude
Is all forgiveness
All those you know and for self

Precious
Is the peace
Is the pure space
Is that nothingness
All that you keep is what you become

Precious
Is being your true self
Is the courage in being so
Is the freedom from living  as another
All that you have got always is YOU

P.S. This post is a contribution to ForgivingFridays, a wonderful blog that is a soothing peaceful presence in this space. Thank you Debbie! I offer this composition to forgive every time I fail to acknowledge the preciousness of all there is!

Does it really matter?

When you feel like you want to disappear
What you really want is to arrive and appear
In a way that is totally you
You with all of yourself and facades few

You try to get away from it all
You though keep hearing a call
To show up this place and that
Coats and scarves and maybe a hat

You reach for things that cover best
Now that your presence is put to test
Ya ya I know it is the season and weather
But you see how glad you seem altogether

It is rather amusing to me
When I hide myself to deter
And then see how many check or bother
It shows my innate desire
To show up with all my fire
But just want to disappear
Because I am not sure if it does matter

Relations – A leaf that loves the Tree

When a leaf lets go of a tree …is either sad?

A Tree rooted
Through the seasons
Branches reaching
Finding directions

Leaves of the Tree, light and lively
Bound and connected to the roots of the Tree
Through the branches and the trunk

Does that connection seem like Relations
Amongst them all, in their perception?
Does it define their paradigm of existence?

It Does …

When the Tree is a Family
With a name tag and generations linking

A leaf has a thin delicate link to the Tree
It is nourished with what flows
From the roots, trunk and branches
As the Tree prolifically grows

The leaf happy and grateful as ever
Limits it’s range of movement, for the link
Until days and years unfold of shocking sadness
That the leaf held on with such love
While the branches simply push and shove
Cutting off the nurture, the leaf lived on …

The stalk of the leaf gave up …
As it let go and flew off the branch
Oh such lightness and freedom
The beauty of the gained wisdom
That all the love was within her

She feels all peaceful and powerful
As she drifts away into the space
There are more others like her
Sky is the limit, planet is the playground …

The Tree still exists for her
In her heart and this lifetime’s soul
She will happily link back
If a waft of love and meaning calls her
For she is forever a longing heart
Full of love for whoever sees her …

When a leaf lets go of a tree …is either sad?
