Don’t Blow Up your Life: Take Responsibility for the Choices You Make
Love is not dramatic or romantic sometimes. It is way bigger. It is something that helps accept what Is, wholly, and then change it.

  1. Pragal . . . I enjoyed this and I’m going to share it with a few friends. This is my favorite part and I’m going to hold it in my heart for a long time to come.

“Have kindness for all involved, including yourself. Do things differently than habitual, be bold, convey your truth. Give it time. Keep steady in choosing what makes you happy. Hatred in your heart will not make you happy. Forgive in the name of human limitation. It is a choice for your own peace”.

Very nice, Pragal. Very nice, indeed.

  2. I enjoyed your article. Relationships are a sacred place where we discover ourselves first and foremost… you know? So often in our dissatisfaction we try and rearrange the externals. To your point, there is compassion in allowing those around us to catch up to our own transformation, and maybe some hidden gem of self-discovery still there at the root as well. Each of us has to follow our heart through this path of the unknown… and be grateful for those who walk beside us!

    Blessings

  3. Dear Pragalbha, your piece, as always, moves me, and resonates deeply. I truly enjoy how you have described love in this piece as something much bigger than we imagine and create it, in mind, to be – truth. When we step outside of the conditioning we have received about what love should be, we enter into a transformational space where Love can be all that Is. Whole, complete, ever-compassionate, and with never a need for ourselves and/or other people to be this way or that, rather this Love you describe Loves what is, just as it is – the freedom and Love available in this perspective and in reality is limitless, just as we are. Beautiful piece, my dear friend. Many blessings to you. Thank you for sharing this wondrous piece; and congrats on its publication. πŸ’™πŸ™

    • Your repsonse fills my heart with such fulfilling peace – for how exactly you get it and how beautifully you share your reflections. I read your comment more than once. I love that you arrive at Love defined as Truth itself. This is always so amazing to think of afresh. Love and Love both are just what Is. Smiling deeply in gratitude for your wise beautiful words :)))) Thank You.

  4. This line resonated a lot with me: “Hatred in your heart will not make you happy. Forgive in the name of human limitation.” I used to be a very arrogant person when things were going well for me. I looked down on other people who weren’t as successful. Then I had some misfortunes, some my fault, some not my fault, and they humbled me. I cut people a lot more slack now and give the benefit of the doubt because I know now (what I ought to have known in the first place) how these circumstances can lead us to make less than optimal choices. I do believe now in forgiving the limitations of others because I’ve learned about my own.

  5. Infinite, here is what I posted on the link:

For all of the wonderful things said here, what stopped me as I read was β€œForgive in the name of human limitation”. Maybe it is where I am in my day, my life, but it says so very much, volumes actually, in so few words. I need to remember it, and live it, as I go forward with this day.

  6. Firstly congratulations for being published. Well done!!! Secondly, I understood everything you are expressing for in our perspective Journeys the old that we were comfortable with falls away in order for new to come in. We do not do this all together at once. There will be those who have been in our lives who fall away for a time for the energy has changed for one person and not the other. ACCEPTANCE is so needed and understanding that we grow at different speeds and it is very wise not to make any hasty decisions during this time of transition. To make it clear of who you are becoming threatens some, but again that’s OK. The important thing to remember, embrace the changes you experience and do not in any way be afraid to show those changes. Celebrate those changes and know eventually those who “fear” your changes will eventually understand. Great article and I thank you so much for sharing it!!! You rock, Prag!!! Much Love to you! xoxoxo

    • Dearest Amy, you help me celebrate my journey of Becoming like none else! You give me exact glimpse of what it looks like, knowing words of guidance that keep me ongoing and encouraged.
’embrace the changes you experience and do not in any way be afraid to show those changes.’ – this that you say is immensely valuable to me. It is a continual raw vulnerable journey, and well stagnancy feels like sickness. Thank you very much forever always for the space you bring to ground myself in.

      • When I get valuable feedback as you have given me here, Prag, you reassure me and confirm for me that what I am all about is exactly what I am to do. I’ve been taught to follow only my heart and Source yet to do so without any “physical” direction takes much Faith. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not only being open to what I know I have to give, but also, reaching out to me in Love. This means so much to me! I promise you, as I am now witnessing in my own life, our very thoughts and actions will attract to us such incredible experiences that leave us in such awe. Understand that when we allow the Universe to shape our lives as we do what we are led to do, it is the most magnificent Gift we can be given. God bless you, dear friend!!! xoxoxoxo

        • I am humbled to know of being that kind of contribution to you.
I can absolutely relate to all that you are saying – the tremendous amount of Faith, the incredible experiences. I am aware that I am still Becoming the strong container to sustain it all, because overwhelm takes over me very easily, that then blocks my flow. I then need to rest and reset. Slow and steady is what I keep reminding myself. Slow and steady. I trust the trajectory. And you affirm it for me. Thank you.

  7. First of all congratulations on publication, Pragalbha. This one surely needed a wider audience.

So often we forget to be kind to ourselves. Love helps us grow and growth means change. Not all can change at the same pace. You have beautifully expressed great insights.

  8. Beautiful wisdom! πŸ‘πŸ§‘

β€˜Going for the change you seek while allowing space for others to be themselves.’

This is so true, as often when transformation and change is needed within us, we want focus instead on what others need to do or what they are not doing to avoid our own responsibility. 🌿

    • You said it so very perfectly! It is certainly about taking our own responsibility. I felt the essence of my post refreshed in your simple wise words. It is a joy to have that line highlighted by you. Thank you very much for your kind appreciation _()_

  9. Firstly, heartiest congratulations! As always, this post was very spiritually uplifting and thought-provoking. I like how you often emphasise on showering oneself with kindness first. It was nice to read about change in a different light- change as you want and give others the space and time to understand the new you better. We often take that aspect of change for granted. I’m forever in awe at your enlightening words which put things in a new perspective. So so loved it! πŸ’–

    • Thank you so much my kind friend for such thoughtful appreciation and wishes. I am in awe of your wisdom and love your ability to reflect back exactly the essence of my message. Yes I have found self compassion to be an important priority. You are right, that aspect of change is taken for granted and that creates a lot of turmoil in relationships. Much Love to you πŸ’

  11. I have noticed that most of your articles talk about your approach to life which sometimes seem unconventional and not followed commonly, but I have to say I find them very bold and refreshing. It’s very honest πŸ™‚ Continue to be who you are right now πŸ™‚

  12. Thank you for sharing this gem ! I really enjoyed reading your words. They brought me a sense of peace that resonated with things I have been working through .I really enjoyed being single for the last few years, a choice that came after finding my ex partner was cheating. I made a promise to myself if that ever happened , I wouldn’t question it, I would just leave. No need to explain myself, just gracefully depart. I realised during my healing .that I was meeting people who were not emotionally available. I connected the dots . I wasn’t healed from the past relationship, so was dating the same personality over and over again …being alone was the best gift I could have ever given myself. I feel I am am a much better person for a potential partner , and most importantly myself. I was able to transform because of, and in spite of etc, I love that we never stop learning and growing πŸ™‚

‘I was able to transform because of, and in spite of ‘ – this is so beautiful what you say. Brings up gratitude for all our life experiences and the guidance that helps us connect the dots and make choices in favor of our well being. I agree with you about what gift it can be to be alone often times in life. Thank you very much truly, it was an absolute joy to have this conversation with you.

  13. The moment I read “Love is not dramatic or romantic sometimes. It is way bigger. It is something that helps accept what Is, wholly, and then change it.”…I decided to read your prose all the way…I praise you for writing such beautiful words…divine to be precise…wisdom you share…truth you talk..and I resonate with your words…my eyes were shining while I was reading each & every word…I could quote everything you’ve written…word to word…but I’m quoting these lines of yours…”Keep asking for the truth in your relationship while you keep going for your own truth. Give up the blame, shame, game and the fight….Go for your own joy while giving others the space to be shaken a bit, or a lot. Hold them in the space of Love.”…coz this is exactly what I’ve realized…therefore, I connect with it instantly…it has taken me my whole life to finally realize this…a few months back…and since then, everything has changed in me…it’s like a click in my inner switch…my apologies for writing a novel…it’s coz I can sense your words…they’re flowing in my veins…and now through my eyes…I’m sitting in pure silence πŸ™βœ¨β€οΈπŸ’«
