The deep blue
Ocean
Clear waves
Peaceful purity
I watch
I feel
From the threshold
Careful that
I Don’t get wet
So I can Turn back
walk in home
Engage with drama
I glance back at the blue
It calls me back
“Watch” it whispers
Enormous tidal wave
It drenches me
Sweeps me off my feet
I playfully give in
Then come back to my threshold again
The insistent blue wave
Now peaks higher than the roof
Breaks through the doors and windows
Floods in through me and everything
From the back of the house, out through the front
Cleansing everything on the way
Within me and the house
I am amazed at, how clean and peaceful it feels
Despite such powerful waves breaking in
And I am reminded ‘they’ will return soon
The ones that I am not done playing with yet
And their games have different rules
So I close the windows and the doors
The wave, like the romantic lunatic lover whispers
“I won’t give up – now that you are wet, you can’t keep me out”
I smile one way and annoyed in another
Proceed to hold the door shut tight with all my strength
The wave still pours in, flows through me, and the house
This time it is careful, once inside the house, not to flow higher than my ankle
Flows out the front silently, without the uproar unlike before
‘They’ arrive and I start explaining and convincing
How I tried my best, with all my strength
To hold the door, so no water comes in
I just couldn’t do better than this
I was amazed again
How they simply said “Oh the floor is wet”
Fetched the mop and started mopping the floors
I watched them from the corner
All wet and floored at myself
Wondering if they would ever want to know
About that amazing blue ocean
That visited this house
Did they even notice
That
I am
All
Wet!
Perhaps
I will just
Allow myself
To
Hang dry
As I help Them
Mop and dry
The floors
Of the house.
I woke up recently with a sense as if I had had a profound experience, and slowly realized and recollected this vivid dream. I decided to write it down and this poem is how it got described. It gave me abundant clarity in my juggle and confusion in navigating my relations while allowing/resisting the waves of transformation that keep washing over me. I am in deep gratitude for the gift of healing and awakening afforded to me in this lifetime. All relations and interactions serve a purpose in this evolution towards embodying my authentic being. Emotions of guilt and grief tend to interfere when we first become aware of how we have been unknowingly contributing to false constructs and agreements of relations. Guilt for not keeping up with our end of the agreement any longer and grief for losing some comfortable ways of being, not being acknowledged for who we truly are. It is my personal responsibility to honor the truth of what the tidal wave brings me and continue to walk with that truth. This acceptance helps me smile and continue to engage with all my Love and Gratitude.
Did you relate to the poem in some way β¦similar or different? I would be honored to know.
I like the description of the lunatic lover as a tidal wave and when the others returned they did not seem to realize what happened.

I can relate to your dreams and your ability to write those subconscious thoughts down … the dreams are what you are really thinking about deep down … some times they seem scary, but after having developed them into written words … the visions appear for a purpose… and then those deep thoughts begin to unravel and clarify … (some of my poems are from my dreams) .. well done Cassa ..

Wonderful and powerful is your recalling of your dream and your poetic wording of how we are all being swept within the tides of emotions…. We do not readily see we are made up of perhaps around 70% of water within our own bodies… And how this Blue Water Planet is connecting all of us within Water- Emotions-Thoughts-and feelings..
Water/emotion~ is one of the most powerful elements within nature.. It seeps through the most minute cracks, and weakens us to break wide open…. And if we do not attend those cracks…. A whole tidal wave can result….. As the Tsunami crashes in to sweep us along….
So many are mopping the floors right now….. Not seeing that the drips will be constantly flowing under the doors…. through the drains….
Those of us who have come through our Emotional tidal waves have had our home/inner worlds tossed around, upturned, and we thought that for a time all was being ripped apart…
But water/emotion is also a great healer as well as a destroyer.. It finds its own level…. It will meander and flow to the parts of the least resistance….
Sometimes its better to open the doors and windows and allow it to flow in, rather than barricade, trying to shut it out… Because Water/Emotion surges strongly… And if we try to hold too much back… It becomes like a Dam, bursting its banks… Which causes much more destruction than if we allow ourselves to face that emotion and feel and allow it to flow in and through us..
When we go with the flow….. We begin to see the clearing and the cleansing effect….. Yes there may be still some debris to sweep out…. But we can do that, with our dustpan and brushes as we tweak those negative corners of our inner rooms…
The world right now dearest Pragalbha, is holding back the water….. We see it for what it is, and no matter what, its going to come crashing in on so many inner worlds…..
We are hear to help them with dustpan and brush…. For we have already gone through our floods..
Lots of love my dear, dear friend… THANK YOU for your most profound sharing of this Dream and your unique way of sharing it will all of us…
Love and Blessings dearest Pragalbha…. β€ Love Sue β€

Your visit is a profound gift and joy to me. I feel inspired, heard, seen and understood for this inner journey and the outer through life, as you so thoroughly shine the light with your very deep and expansive view of this unfolding. It was a dream that surely felt extraordinary an d stunning in how clear it was and the imprint it left on me. I can only imagine that I can protect my dynamic with others by barricading this tidal wave of awakening, but it just doesn’t work that way. It is playful and healing only as long as I allow it to flow. If I resist it, it creates such havoc sparing none. When I allow it, it flows continuously wise and low. That is how I can then stand steady to be able to help those around …
Your reflections truly helped me feel grounded in the knowing and empowered in the embodying of this awareness gifted to me. What a blessing to have your deep wise insights as contributions to my alignment with the flow and truth of it all. Truly means a lot to me, humbled and grateful for your friendship. Bow & Hugs & Love & Smiles & Thank You.

Apologies I am so late in my replying here Pragalbha … Just so much to do out in Nature Along with creating, and so little time it feels to do…
I am happy my thoughts were of value to you…
Keep within the flow…. We are going to need to keep our energies high …
I am still just going within my own flow at the moment…. I know you also went through this phase…. Nature and my crafts are calling louder than my blogging world at the moment… So I am just following the flow of my feelings and thoughts…
Sending Love and blessings dearest friend…. β€

I agree , we have a choice not to engage , we can be there physically but we don’t need to be there mentally or emotionally. It is a big lesson I have learnt and keep practicing whenever such situations present themselves. How else can we live. To get involved in each drama will just destroy our peace and stability

Very true. I found myself not very skillled at this in some relations while very good in choosing to keep the balance in others. Yes it does destroy the peace and stability. It is good opportunity for cultivating self care and boundaries.

Dreams can shake us, renew us, upset us. Tidal waves, gosh life has so many. When I had dreams with water , I just felt helpless, and unable to cope. Dare I say those dreams seem to have disappeared. I have done so much work in letting go, gratitude, affirmations, meditation and spirituality and God’s words and journaling, that one of these or all these bring me back on track. Touch wood.
I just love the poem and the descriptions are all wonderful. ” Lunatic lover’ ! But, this one got me the most
“.. I am in deep gratitude for the gift of healing and awakening afforded to me in this lifetime….” Because life is an opportunity to heal, awaken and improve in this birth and our next birth as a human can be better.

This is so beautiful, playful – yet full of depth, symbolic and so much more… I love it so… I recently heard another talk of us being in sort of a tsunami state where all the water sort of pulls back before the wave… like we’re gathering our strength and mustering our muchness before we sort of all come together in this wave of leveled up consciousness so to speak… this poem reminds me of that somehow and I hope to relate to it well in the sense of flowing with it as it comes in such a beautiful and accepting way. Just delightful!!!! The tsunami analogy resonated with me as I feel a sense of the world hitting the snooze button somewhat on what the next phase will be… your share gives me joyful hope in really touching ways… makes me feel ready… in exquisite ways… ready ready ready. β€οΈu!

Dreaming of any elemental force is powerful in itself – no wonder it left such an impact on you – almost like s psychic having an intuitive hit. To be able to articulate a poem out of the experience is a great way to catalogue it, refer in time to see how the metaphors play out in real life. This was beautiful! There was something very immersive about the mere experience of reading the poem, I can only imagine how powerful it must have been to have been the dreamer.
Prayers for your troubles to be washed away with the renewing tides and blessings to usher in! π
