The Cloud

Clouds

My Knowing knows
I am living life the most
My feeling is often as if
I am forever lost

My Knowing knows
I am living my truth
My feeling is often as if
I am forever living a lie

My Knowing knows
I am living at my best
My feeling is often as if
The gap towards it is vast

My Knowing knows
There is nothing amiss
My feeling is often as if
There is something amiss

In my Knowing there is no doubt
In my feeling often hovers a Cloud
The Cloud becomes my mind escape
The Cloud gives me as if a comfort place

My Knowing pulls me out of the conundrum
My feeling tugs at me with fear and care
The Knowing is a spacious freedom
The feeling is what’s scattered in there

  1. Beautiful. Very beautiful. My knowing knows! Love it.

Feelings can put fear in knowing. But my knowing knows, that even when ferling fears, i know i have overcome many a time before, that my knowing knows that the ferling of fear is a passing cloud, cause i will pass successfully.

    Beautiful post..loved it.. bravo! Encore…👏👏👏

  2. A beautiful poem. You brought together the power of knowing and feeling so well and presented them to be such powerful components 💚

  3. Perhaps knowing arises from the connection we have to the universe, and feeling comes from the social conditioning we undergo? Which one of us has not experienced inner conflict and wondered who we really are at our core? This is a relatable, thought-provoking piece, Pragalbha.

  4. This poem describes what I’m often battling. A part of me feels a sense of okay, a sense that I’m heading in the right direction but my feelings or inner fear keeps tugging and asking if I am really so sure. Beautifully penned and very relatable.

  5. Ah, the duality of 3D life here on planet earth! Our knowing says one thing yet our emotions and feelings tend to run away and tell us another thing. Now if we can but discipline ourselves to listen only to the knowing and cross our arms saying no to feelings, that would be the ultimate way to live. Yet, we who are human were born with feelings and emotions and to deny those we would not be fully alive. The teeter totter of going back and forth between knowing and feelings can at times leave one pulling out hair. Yet, lessons in disguise wait for us to stumble upon in order for new growth to appear. Your words I read several times ….. clever, so true, and written in such a way that leaves me thinking. I applaud you, dear friend! What a Gift you have!! Thank you for sharing! 💜💜💜

    • And your words I read repeatedly with a grateful smile :))) Yes, yes you truly get this, oh how you exactly describe where my poem cones from!😊 Thank you for calling it a gift, your applause feels so lovingly wonderful to have. Living life this alive to our knowing and our feelings – it is such grace to know we are not alone. Much Love and Gratitude my friend.

  6. Oh Pragalbha, what a lovely poem! Thank you for contributing this for #ForgivingFridays, I am so touched. There is a difference between our natural knowing, and our feelings. You capture this so beautifully––knowing is the truth, our strength, and the essence of who we are; feelings are mutable and finite and only a small part of the bigness of US.

This reminds me of a good quote from my spiritual mentor John-Roger. I’m copying a little bit of it below. Let me know if you’d like the whole excerpt! You have my email. 🙂 . Blessings to you Pragalbha. You are wonderful.
    Love and Light,
    Debbie

    Quote from John-Roger:

“The way to learn about the Soul is to be open to the possibility that it exists; accept the possibility you are more than your body, your thoughts, or your feelings. You don’t have to believe it. You don’t have to have faith. Just be open to the possibility that it exists.” ~John-Roger

    • Such a joy that you took the time to stop by! All is well, life is rich with living and learning and growing. Thank you so much for your care and trust.

I would like to add, I am partially not thrilled about staying away from the blog yet I am feeling the guidance to be elsewhere, just simply living and engaging with life differently. I truly hope and long to feel the inspiration to be back here writing and sharing and engaging in this special space.

I trust the best for you too 💛

    • Hello Raj, truly grateful for your inquiry on my absence here _()_
I did not intend to go on a break yet had to stay true to how life wanted me to flow with the natural course – just simply living and appreciating life, I ended up taking a lot of space from everything and every way I was spending my time. There have been profound shifts for me but all in a good way. I am attempting to tune back into what inspiration or expression would help me find my way back in to the blog space – I am tuning in for guidance on the timing of it. I do wish I make a post of update on me … 🙂
Thank you again …I am trying to give words to respond to you, I am trusting you would understand 🙂

      • Glad to see you are doing fine Pragalbha. Yes, we all have our real life and which needs utmost care and attention. As long as you are in it that’s all matters. Take your time and breath…. (I am teaching the yoga guru to breath! :D)
Come back when you are comfortable, even I have not been regular here too! Cheers to you! ❤️👏 🤝

  9. Dear Pragalbha, so long as ‘You Know’ my friend, that is all that matters.. Living YOUR TRUTH..
Loved your poem my friend, and sometimes we just need to step away and live life, contemplate that which we Do know.. We all need our own space to BE my friend, I too have taken longer and longer breaks.. Not visiting as many of those I follow as often, because Life is precious, and we need to remember to nurture ourselves and live in the moment..

Just follow your heart and what feels right, blog when you feel the need, visit when you feel up to it..
I have been busy this last week harvesting and working in the allotment. I have only been spending 30 minutes to an hour perhaps every other day or longer moderating comments and trying to revisit back and perhaps catch a new post from those I follow here and there..
At one time I would feel guilty for not being in my blog and would try to visit everyone.. With the amount I follow and the amount now being posted, that is impossible.. So I am content doing my best..
Keep watching those clouds float by dear friend and feel the freedom of just allowing yourself the freedom to BE!…

Much love my friend and take care of you, ❤ ❤

    • I am ever so full of Gratitude for you. It is you who helped me make this choice of staying away so evident and easy for me than it could have been, without your sharing and modeling of it. You have once again grounded and supported me in my choice. It is like I lived it and then wrote tons about it and then it is yet gain the turn of living it – the choice of simply Being, living life without the pressure of Doing. Thank you for helping me with this freedom 🙂 I can feel the leftover traces of leaving me and I am filled with love and appreciation for everyone I would like to visit, but I honor the time needed for myself. Thank you for still being here.

  10. A wonderful parallelism is drawn, I am enticed, a little more than overwhelmed, I might read it again in moments I feel losing it all, in moments where my feeling surpasses me, I might come back to this.
    Hope you are doing well.
    Stay safe.
