Chance Meetings of Perfection

About chance meetings of perfection
We are either blobs of messes that encounter perfectly
Or then a piece of perfection untangled out of a mess
Sometimes both true at the same time
It is how we intersect as part of humanity

About chance meetings of perfection
We either skillfully carve our personal journey
Or then truthfully honor the other’s story
Sometimes both true at the same time
It is how we raise the bar of humanity

About chance meetings of perfection
We either expect them to be exhilarating in experience
Or then try to escape those that bring deep reflection
Sometimes both true at the same time
It is how we have blinding views of humanity

About chance meetings of perfection
We either get trapped in the glory
Or then tend to repulse some misery
Sometimes both true at the same time.
It is how we have all the confusion in humanity

About chance meetings of perfection
We either look for them outside of the relations we have
Or then treat the relations we already have as differently
Sometimes both true at the same time
It is how we have suffering in humanity

About chance meetings of perfection
We either see each of our relations in similar view
(parents, siblings, spouses, such bound)
Or enjoy the brilliance of other special few
(those that intersect out of nowhere, really unbound)
Sometimes both true at the same time
It is how we allow the grace of humanity

About chance meetings of perfection
We either acknowledge the divine interventions
Or lead a seemingly undeserving existence
All big and small daily interactions
All long and short term relations
Make the perfect design of all of humanity

I offer this poem in Gratitude to every single human and soul that has crossed my path in this lifetime, and made a direct or indirect impact on my Being here ..

  1. All long and short term relations
Make the perfect design of all of humanity” I so much agree with these lines. You are so correct. Every relation, whatever kind has some kind of effect and is there because of some reason whatsoever. A wonderful share Pragalbha.

  2. I’d say you are back and then some! Powerful! OH I know exactly where you are. You had to travel through the tunnel of darkness of quiet or nothingness before you arrived at Destination Perfect. I had to read these words again and again. I’m covered in goosebumps! WOWOWOWOWOW is all I can describe how I’ve reacted to your words. And the image? Blew me away! You swung this one right out of the ball park, Prag. Exceptional! How you formed your thoughts in these words left my mouth hanging wide open. Incredible!! Par excellent! Brava! And THANK YOU for sharing such powerful insights! So many Gems of Truths woven within your words. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    • My heart smiled deeply and then was filled with happiness with your so amazing comment. I know you read my poem very perfectly and between & beyond the lines. I feel so understood and seen by you.
I have to admit one thing. I had written this poem more than a year ago and it never got posted. During the current quiet phase it came to mind as if asking to be shared. I shusshed it down several times but it came up bold and clear ready to be seen. The poem feels very true to me in the present yet it feels a completely digested revelation. I believe you would understand me about what I am saying 🙂
Thank you so much for being here my friend. Thank you for your support always.

  3. Beautiful thoughts.
I like the tirle and its repeating in the post.

About a chance meeting if perfection

Full if contrances and seemly shirt lived, perfection seems so fleeting.

May be perfection is simply being content , flexible , and letting go pain if pain to see it is all perfectly designed if i let my eye and feelings see it that way.

    If that makes sense

  4. Pragalbha, this is an incredible poem. So deep and full of feeling. I get a sense of sadness and joy all at the same time. What particularly moved me were the last two stanzas on grace and the perfect design …. and all of it illustrates a sacred embracing of humanity and that what’s seemingly opposite may in fact all be the same underneath — it is ALL love.

I love you and am inspired and blessed to share this for #ForgivingFridays. I may not be doing a post this week in honor of a Thanksgiving vacation. If not, I’ll share it next week. 🙂 Blessings, Debbie

Such joy too that you read it so deeply to share the essence of the poem in your thoughtful beautiful words – indeed it is all Love, underneath all that feels sad and glad. 5. This is just lovely Pragalbha, So well thought and written my friend.. Indeed all things are perfection, even those meetings we wish we perhaps had never encountered, all have something to teach..
One thing I am always happy about is that how orchestrated our Universe is as we meet and greet those whom we are meant to encounter.. And I give thanks our paths crossed..
Love and Blessings my friend and the gratitude is all mine… ❤

  7. Insightful. I pondered about the chance meeting of perfection. Is it truly chance or by some direction of the divine? Does life happen by chance or as we feel led or inspired to pursue certain courses of action or down a certain path? Maybe perfection is pursuing that which is complete and fulfilled – although we may never obtain in this life – but it is a goal. Thanks for triggering my mind to dig in some. 🙂
