Will I get to the world Before the world gets to me?

Sheer element of trust in the unknown
The future moment or some person
That’s the power of your pure Being
Only stability on what you could be leaning
You know it from your knowing, perceiving & feeling

Everything else is always ever-changing
The moment itself changes & precepts too
Flow fluidly, fun with it have you

Choose courageously, fear is futile
Connect joyously, it’s all worthwhile
To the moments and those persons
Exactly as you feel inclined
All forms of doubt fully declined

Buy not the close-mindedness
And the attitudes of limited-ness
Of the world as your own

Get to the world wildly & merrily
Before the world gets to you heavily
The lies will try to bring you down
Trust that the truth to you is known
Buoyant is its lightness & brilliant its brightness

Look back and find nothing as ever lost
Only gained through lessons learnt most
That is exactly why you are never wrong
The choices you made were best among
You trusted in the way you felt
Regardless of what to others it meant …

  1. Pragal this is a good contribution to “Forgiving Fridays.” I loved these lines especially:

    “Choose courageously, fear is futile
    Connect joyously, it’s all worthwhile
To the moments and those persons
    Exactly as you feel inclined
All forms of doubt fully declined

    Buy not the close-mindedness
    And the attitudes of limited-ness
Of the world as your own

Get to the world wildly & merrily
Before the world gets to you heavily”

    Beautiful.

  2. WOW!!! How timely this is for me, Pragal. I was faced with lies just today coming from someone who desired to pull me back into a bleak past. I said no. And I continued to state truth, my truth. Bless you for writing this …. life can be so hard at times. Depending on our attitude and outlook, we can either live in hell or heaven. Big (((HUGS))) Amy🌹

    • Yess, your last statement says it all! Ultimately we create our own hell or heaven on a daily basis. I feel like such a different person from 2 years ago …and this poem was such a fresh feeling in my being back then. I am reaching out to that freshness and lightness in me that could overcome any heavy energies around.
I am so glad that it came in timely to you too 🙂 Biggest hug of Gratitude and Love.

  3. I connect joyously to you, once again…through the irrepressible kindness of your soul! 💕
It won’t surprise you to hear that I mostly cannot bear the excruciating heaviness of the world. My online time is almost exclusively WP and I stopped watching the news a year ago. I believe we (ppl like you and I ) are the small building blocks of incremental positivity, that united … can truly change the world 💟

    • My heart leaps out in merriment reading your words! I haven’t watched news for quite many years now. Your last statement fills my cup of trust, faith and conviction and confidence. It helps to know there is company 🙂 You, my friend, add powerfully yet very gently to me and the world. Much Love and Gratitude.

  4. There is so much wisdom in this poem, Infinite Living. Thank you. Here is a part of it that really spoke to me: “Get to the world wildly & merrily
Before the world gets to you heavily.” I love the idea of plunging myself into the world wildly and merrily.

    • As always your interpretations are so beautifully worded and give back the essence of my poem in more wonderful ways. Yes the Truth in the moment becomes so compelling that the worldly definitions do not apply any more, that is when it is important to drown any voices that are not truly yours. It is just beyond words magical, the state of my Being was when this poem came through me, the taste of it lingers only in memory.

  5. I absolutely loved reading this! It’s so uplifting and reminds me to be free, and to focus. There are so many lines…’Choose courageously, fear is futile, Look back and find nothing as ever lost, Only gained through lessons learnt most’. Just such brilliant wisdom!

  6. Such powerful words of affirmation, Pragal.
As I doubt myself so often, I find this part especially helpful:
    “Choose courageously, fear is futile
    Connect joyously, it’s all worthwhile
To the moments and those persons
    Exactly as you feel inclined
All forms of doubt fully declined.”

Your world of words always inspires and leaves me feeling better for having been given the gift of beauty and purity that they become for my soul ❤

  8. Pragalbha, I am so incredibly touched! Thank you for sharing this poem for #ForgivingFridays. It is a celebration of life through living fully, opening our hearts, and oh so much more! Your wisdom comes through every verse, each stanza. One of the greatest qualities that I know is to learn through all of our experiences, and you share that here with such grace and courage. May you be blessed in all ways this Valentine’s Day! ❤ Love, Debbie
