You didn’t mess it all up.
No
You didn’t!
You showed up.
With all that you had in you.
You didn’t lose anything.
No
You didn’t!
You showed up.
You got exactly and all out of it.
You learned something
About yourself and about that thing.
You showed up.
You will never be the same again
When you show up next.
You didn’t mess it all up.
No
You didn’t lose anything!

Life is an opportunity to get better with each lesson. Showing up takes strenght ..and to show up time and time again takes enormous strenght.
Love this post of yours

Yes, you reflected the gist so well. Enormous strength is required indeed, yet we need to be kind to ourselves as we learn the lessons. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thought.

This takes me back to another time and place. I always thought I had messed up but like you said, I had showed up and it took a lot of strength, I clearly remember that.
Thank you, Pragalbha, it felt like you wrote this poem for me.

NA, I am looking for a word that can express my gratitude to you that is beyond the word Thank You. I am so glad to see you and your work back after your long break. I am humbled and honored with the time you took to go through ALL of my posts since then, about 50 or more of them, and read them! You really affirm the writer in me in the Kindest way.
I wish you all the ease, joy and glories of life.

Oh this is gorgeous, thank you! My spiritual mentor John-Roger says that the willingness to do gives the ability to do. Showing up is such a representation of that willingness – yay! ๐
