You OWN me in this lifetime
Because of how infinitely UNOWNED
I feel and live
While in relationship with you
P.S. Dear WP friends, thank you for the thoughtful and warm messages waiting for me, as I return from my break π I took a break to attend to some things that were gaining momentum in my other worlds. The break although served another purpose. I became unwell, affording me rich times of grounding, growing and nourishing my Being, with everything that my Being craved for. As I recover and get back, I feel a clarity of my intentions. I am very eager to explore all the work I missed from all of you π
P.S. 2 – Kindly do share with me what thoughts came up for you, about my sentiment to the Perfect Spouse, in agreement or otherwise π
Welcome back!

Welcome Back Pragal! Hope you are well now!
Perfect spouse, that’s interesting!! βΊ
Where can one find them ?πππ
Lol π Just kidding
I think no person or relation could be perfect. And it’s more good if there is scope for improvement. This way we can grow and keep exploring each other and life won’t go dull and boring.

I appreciate your honest reflection on my post. You are right, a relation is healthy when it is fluidly growing and improving.

Perfect spouse- Do they even exist??

Thank you for your question in reflection Shaloo π I think every person is imperfect in some way. We become perfect for each other as spouses if each one has freedom for personal evolution and nurture each other’s freedom, while being in commitment in the relationship.

I was never one for the word ownership….an elusive butterfly is never meant to be kept, merely appreciated and observed and cherished, as we all are that butterfly. Missed you my friend and welcome back β€

I love being that butterfly π Loved your analogy!

Honestly I am! I can do everything a woman can except bear kids. I’m romantic, I have empathy towards everyone, I’m artistic, funny, etc etc. What more does a woman need/want? π

Absolutely yes! I can agree with you, especially if you know your own qualities and can understand the other human so well π

I think it’s not so hard. We just have to try a little bit. I’m all for equality and free spirit π

You are right! To me it is much harder if it is anything otherwise. It is better to put effort, as you say. Equality and free spirit is exactly what I meant by ‘Infinitely unowned’ while being committed in the relationship. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts π

PD, it feels great to experience the beauty of your essence once more!
My initial reaction to your reflection was a feeling of uneasiness and dissonance. On the one hand, seeing the word “own” in relation to another human being, regardless of the context, felt like a betrayal of my humanity and personhood. On the other hand, the dissonance arose from the opposite side of being “unowned,” which felt like I am not unwanted and undesired.
I love how you pull from both sides.

Ah! thank you my friend for bringing a thought provoking reflection. I enjoyed the different flavor of perspective that you brought to this, and took time to let it sink in π
Own meant my commitment to the spouse and Unowned meant freedom to be truly Be me, with no limitations placed by the spouse, from my perspective.
Really appreciate your comment!

Welcome back ! I hope you continue to be well PD. I tend not to use the word “own” but I do love the idea of giving myself comptey to someone because they don’t own me π

Yes the use of that word was a poetic strategy. I could never actually use it π Thank you, I am doing very well now.
